GAMA ICAS Foundation Scholarship Application
GAMA and the International Council of Air Shows annually offers this aviation scholarship as part of its commitment to advancing careers in general aviation including air shows.
Eligibility Criteria An Applicant Must:
- Be a current student at a U.S. College or University having successfully completed two semesters.
- Be enrolled in an institution for an aviation-related degree program (e.g., flight training, aviation management, aerospace engineering, aviation maintenance).
- Complete Essay Question (limit 750 words, typed, and double spaced):
Application Procedures
1.Please submit a one-page essay (limit 750 words, typed and double spaced) on why you want to receive the ICASF/GAMA Scholarship, how the funds will be used, describe your aviation-related goals or why you want to learn aerobatics.
2. Please submit biographical and demographic information. This information may be used for ICAS Foundation and/or GAMA press releases about the scholarships program.
3. Email this completed application form to info@airshowfoundation.org
4. DO NOT SUBMIT or ATTACH PHOTOGRAPHS, DRAWINGS OR ARTWORK with your application.
5. Application submissions received prior to the selection cutoff date will be considered by the selection committee for the current year. Submissions received after the cutoff date of December 31 are held for next year’s program.
